I just got a cute pair of the big sunglasses, when I was visiting southern CA recently which I love.. apparently men can’t stand them and assume all women wear them trying to look like celebrities..
I for one wear them since my eyes are super sensitive to sun and am trying to avoid wrinkles and the bigger ones obviously help more. Women, do you care about the whole looking like a fly thing, and still wear them? I get the idea that they can look stupid but like I said, the benefits outweigh that thought, plus I actually think they’re cuter. So thoughts appreciated!
aside from the fact that you can get skin cancer from the sun or tanning bed. i don’t get why being all brown, orange is a good, "healthy" look when you’re supposed to be white or whatever color you were. i have seen all the times that girls used to look the best with white face and sunglasses and now they all look tanned and with the sunglasses they just look weird. plus with the most influential celebrities these days, not many of them get tanning. Think Avril Lavigne, Brittany Murphy, Nicole Kidman, Ellen Degeneres and more, and they look the best all the time just being themselves in their own white skin. Only fake girls in those LB or the Hills eps get all tanned up for no reason. Do you agree? What’s your take on it?

So i was on a date with this white guy and we got into a discussion about jersey shore. Now we both like the show and ive always found tan skin attractive so i told him that he would look better with a tan. He than told me that he doesn’t tan he goes red. Now i don’t find white guys who are very pale attractive so i told him "your to white for me". He got offended and he told me "well your to black for me". And than i said "you could light up the whole room with skin as white as yours. Im not about to get sun burned. im already black as it is." and i got up and left.
Now im not usually this honest but this guy was like OBSESSED with me.. so i decided to give it a chance.. but the whole time i was looking at him i felt compelled to take out my sunglasses.. his skin was so white it was blinding my eyes!!
He ruined my whole thanksgiving dinner =(
so i guess this is why black women refuse to date white men… now i get it . I wonder how many white men were reported to the police for blinding black women with their skin. No wonder the interracial relationship numbers are so low for black women and white men. White men are just killing black women by the minute. Im glad i left before it was to late.
lol @ heboon and sheebon. did you just make those words up? lmao. At least you made me laugh ^.^
my nephew has to wear glasses but the sun hurts his eyes but he can’t remove them to wear sunglasses so i was after clip-on sunglasses. i know you can get them for an adult but i need childs
should men (or women) wear their sunglasses up on their heads instead of putting them "away" when it’s not sunny enough actually put them "on"? or,does it seem like they’re trying too hard to be "hip"? sometimes i like to have my sunglasses handy in case i catch sight of an attractive man, and need a flirting prop. yet, when a man wears his sunglasses in the v of his shirt front, it seems like he’s looking for the don johnson look-alike audition.
Kat: you’re right about how sunglasses can be like hair jewelry.
bb80266: i DO like to see men push their sunglasses up when they enter a building. it seems confident. so much better than to keep wearing them where there is no sun….unless, of course, the windows are huge, or you poor guys have a headache
I have one of those thick black plastic framed glasses and I was wondering if I should get clip ons or just wear sunglasses over them. I dont have enough money to buy prescription sunglasses and I cant wear contacts, but I NEED shiled from the sun! Ive been getting head aches from it. But I dont want to look like an idiot either ): Which is the better choice?
