HD Glasses

I have vision insurance that covers the full exam and a "cheap" plastic frame, according to the girl who showed me my options after the doctor checked me over. She said I needed the poly carbonate lenses instead as they are much better and will not break as easy. She also said I would want a special coating that they apply to the lenses that turn them into the equivalent of "HD". I’m wanting progressive lenses that transition to sunglasses. She also told me there are two types of progressives and of course I would not want the cheaper ones. I’m telling you the whole thing sounded more like a sales pitch than a doctor caring for her patient. I just don’t want to get ripped off and certainly don’t want to buy anything I don’t really need.
My insurance won’t kick in until January so I have plenty of time to weigh my options.
Also, do I have to buy all of this from my doctor? Can’t I take the prescription to someone else if I find a better deal?

So I just bought this pair of dolce&gabana’s & I’m so undecided about my purchase.

What do you prefer? Small sunglasses that only cover a bit over and under your eye or big sunglasses that cover your eyebrows? Thanks

for what they do they should be so much more money. their incredible for what they can do. like an LCD tv and laptops i’ve seen some for like 0, my sunglasses cost more than that. A playstation 3 that plays hd games and blue ray videos is 0, my jeans cost more than that… I think electronics need to go up in price their worth it. Anyone know why their so much cheaper than clothes?

How long before we start hearing about High Definition Jesus?

i want BIG sunglasses. the ones that the shades cover your eyebrows.
and ones under 20$, i want them more for style than to cover my eyes.
i was looking at ones at fashion bug and hot topic . any other places or sites i could try?
